GreenTrail Treks is operated from 14 River Walk, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia. We are committed to providing exceptional hiking experiences while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all our clients.
2. Booking and Reservations
When you book a hiking tour with GreenTrail Treks, you enter into a binding agreement. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
- Bookings must be made by individuals 18 years or older, or by a parent/guardian for minors
- Full payment or deposit (as specified) is required to confirm your booking
- You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of booking
- All participants must complete a health and fitness declaration form
- Minimum participant numbers may apply for certain tours to proceed
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the price quoted at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. For multi-day tours, a 30% deposit is required at booking, with the balance due 30 days before the tour departure date. Full payment is required at booking for tours departing within 30 days.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our business operations:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund
- 7-14 days before departure: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days before departure: No refund
- Tour cancellations due to extreme weather or safety concerns will receive a full refund or tour credit
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment
5. Participant Responsibilities
By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and agree to the following responsibilities:
- You are in adequate physical condition to participate in the chosen activity
- You will follow all instructions provided by our guides and staff
- You will disclose any medical conditions or medications that may affect your participation
- You will arrive on time with all required equipment as specified in the pre-tour briefing
- You will respect fellow participants, guides, wildlife, and the natural environment
- You will not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs
6. Safety and Liability
Your safety is our top priority. All our guides are certified and trained in wilderness first aid. However, outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By participating in our tours, you acknowledge these risks and agree to:
- Release GreenTrail Treks from liability for personal injury, property damage, or death arising from participation
- Assume all risks associated with outdoor activities including, but not limited to, weather conditions, terrain hazards, and wildlife encounters
- Follow all safety instructions and use provided safety equipment properly
- Inform guides immediately of any injuries, illnesses, or concerns during the tour
We maintain comprehensive liability insurance and require all participants to sign a waiver before tour commencement.
7. Photography and Media
During our tours, we may take photographs and videos for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant GreenTrail Treks permission to use images containing your likeness in marketing materials, social media, and our website. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
8. Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to sustainable tourism and Leave No Trace principles. All participants must:
- Stay on designated trails and camping areas
- Pack out all waste, including organic waste
- Respect wildlife by observing from a distance
- Minimize campfire impact and follow fire regulations
- Leave natural and cultural artifacts undisturbed
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of GreenTrail Treks and protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
10. Privacy

11. Force Majeure
GreenTrail Treks is not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or other acts of God.
